Transforming Spaces: a two-phase commercial and residential development

Revitalizing and expanding, this project unfolds in two phases: Phase 1 focuses on the full refurbishment, repair, and re-modelling of an existing commercial unit, transforming it into a modern shop and office space.


Phase 2 involves the development of new flats and additional commercial space on the land at the rear, expanding both residential and business opportunities within the area.

This project is particularly close to KILO’s heart as it involves the transformation of the company’s own offices.


The original building, nearly 200 years old, was in urgent need of refurbishment. To ensure its structural integrity, a new steel frame was inserted, supported by new foundations, breathing new life into the space.


It has been incredibly rewarding for KILO to play a direct role in the regeneration of Lee Green, even if it’s just a small piece of the area’s broader revitalization.


Looking ahead, the next phase will see the development of new accommodation in the form of a residential mews, featuring commercial space below and a vehicle turntable, continuing the commitment to enhancing the local environment.
