DESCRIPTION:

Phase 1: The complete refurbishment, repair and re-modelling of an existing commercial unit, to form shop and offices.
Phase 2: New flats and commercial space within a development of land to the rear.

HOW THE PROJECT ILLUSTRATES ‘OUR APPROACH’:

This project relates to KILO’s own offices, and includes all the ‘Our Approach’ stages.
The original building is almost 200 years old, and was in dramatic need of refurbishment. To do that we inserted a new steel frame on new foundations.
We have found it very satisfying to be directly engaged in regeneration – albeit of a very small part of Lee Green.
The next phase is to build new accommodation (residential over commercial) in the form of a mews, complete with vehicle turntable.
